Summer in Japan

Holla all! How’s life?! Mine is absolutely fantastic… Finally, I’m back after a long long time ! I've got a sudden urge to make a new post. I guess this is better than wasting my time stalking Syahrini’s IG. Hahaha.

Guys…. so hot in my place right now, yeah… the heat of summer. Yes, welcome summer holiday after a lot of presentations and final exams. By the way, summer in Japan is very hot and humid. Daytime temperatures are generally around 30℃-35. It could be difficult, but it also brings beautiful images like matsuri (festival), fireworks and many more. Welcome summer and new experiences !

Himawari Matsuri (Sunflower Festival)

Natsu Matsuri (Summer Festival)

It's almost four months that I have been here and everything has been absolutely wonderful. I got the scholarship to study in Ferris University. It is the best thing I have ever done in my life. Studying in Japan is one of childhood’s dreams. It is just like a dream coming true, since I am here now in Yokohama, Japan. I came to Japan in the end of March 2014 and stay here until February 2015. By the way, living in Japan is not as easy as I think, because I have to adapt with not only the food, but also the rhythm of life, the seasons, the culture, and the language, which are very different with my country. However, I have learned and enjoyed many positive things from this country.

Studying in Japan gives me many opportunities and wonderful experiences. So, let me to share my experiences. :)

Love,
Ladycia

That Just Happened ; perfect day is everyday !

Never blame any day in your life
Good days give you happiness
Bad days give you experience
Worst days give you a lesson

How's life? Mine pretty went well (not sure).
Have you ever had a problem that keeps coming back to your life? I think we all have. At the beginning, I did not know why a problem should happen over and over again in someone’s life, but now I start to understand.

There will be plenty of times in our lives when we feel that life is too hard, too difficult, for us to go through it. The times where we lose all the hopes and the dreams. But as soon as we make peace with ourselves, and with what happen, we will be much, much happier.  So don't try your hardest to make the day goes perfectly, sometimes it's those little surprising moments that we don't cherish turn out to be the ones that we remember a lifetime. It is also true how I once read, "Life isn't tied with a bow, but it is still a gift."

If you think that life's a joke, you might as well just laugh at it. Yeah !  So please don’t forget to be happy. Whatever happens.

And..... We grew up. Yes, that just happened. Happy friday, readers :))

Random; Unmotivated.

Hello people!
Is it just me or February really went by so fast? Crazy time is crazy !!! By the way, glad to know that my blog is not deactivated by the server (yet!). All is well, except I just haven't been in the best shape for blogging, tired both emotionally and physically... And yes, you can blame it on the crazy tasks they probably drained all my energy and sucked all my mood. But hear me now, I am back.

Actually, I don't have a good topic to share, just let me to share my feeling, maybe yours too. I guess I can't really pinpoint the perfect day of my life. It's true how the best days of your life are yet to come. But the ugly truth is that it's not all butterflies and rainbows all the time, there are moments where you have to learn from the days you've went through too. Even when you thought that day couldn't get any worst, you can still take the good from the bad. Isn't it?

I know I should have been a little bit stronger.

Keep Spirit, minna :)

One of My Lucky Days

HELLO, everybody! Weekend already, right? :)

The weather is always been cloudy, rainy, and windy these days. Today, I feel so busy because I have to handle the letter for my absence from college. Fortunately,  the person who served me did her job quickly. That was relieving. Fiuh~ How was your day? I hope it was a good day J

I won’t  forget my mom’s saying “if we sow good seeds, good crops we will harvest.” My mom always told me to do nice things to anyone. It made my belief that there are wingless angels get stronger.

I wrote this because I miss the old man which I met when I went to Fukuoka, Japan. That man is a taxi driver who took me from airport to dorm of Fukuoka University. Because my flight schedule got delayed I didn’t picked up by Fukuoka University’s officials like candidates from other countries. So, I spent one night in Singapore while waiting for next flight to Fukuoka. Despite the fact that I got five stars serving such as hotel and wonderful meals, I lost one day in Japan. But the good thing is I felt like some kind of a member of some royal family. :3  and….. the most precious thing I experienced on that day was the meeting with the kind taxi driver. Actually, the university will give back the money I used to pay the taxi when I get to the university. So, I paid with my own yen. I only brought 4000 of yen. But, tetteretotett… it turned out that I must pay 5000 of yen. Oh God, I was shivering like mad. You know what happened next ?! The driver let me go for just 4000 of yen. What a luck. I offered to pay the rest with USD but he won’t accept. He said “just 4000 of yen is fine” while showing his kind smile J

the taxi and the great driver

That’s not the only generosity the man gave me. A long the way he told me so much about Fukuoka. He also gave me two books about Fukuoka as memento. I was so touched and I felt so lucky. I won’t deny it. I could only return the favor by giving thanks and a pair of traditional keychain from Yogyakarta. I hope those gifts could bring joy to him. Thank you so much, Sir.

There are so many kind persons in this world. I’ll always try to be one of them. Thanks God for blessing with good persons around me.

HAPPY WEEKEND, EVERYONE :))

KKN : As Long As The Locals Feel Happy

Hi, This is my first post in 2014 ! I Know it’s rather late to say this, but HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE J

Today is Sunday, right? But unfortunately, I'm not going anywhere. It’s better for me to write in my blog. And now, I’m gonna share some of my college life story. Enjoy, guys J

Time passed away without me realize it. My college life is almost over. I got mixed feelings in my years as a college student. Even though the Kanjis look so hard to read, it’s like, can’t be read by average people, I always felt so great when I managed to read the Kanjis. But, when I found my computer infected by viruses, that’s a different story. I can’t do anything but ask my boyfriend who is a pro when it comes to this kind of situation. Thereby I got the idea that any single knowledge over anything is as important as the others.

In my entire life as a college student the time when all I’ve gained during my study is during the KKN (Kuliah Kerja Nyata). While I often doing job as LO or tutor, KKN is still the prime time to show what I got during my days as college student and use them to help others. Don’t ever thing ‘what could students of literature do?’ Just remember that every knowledge has their own merits.

By the way, I was assigned for KKN in Kutuh, Bali. There lies a beach that just became popular recently. The theme of my KKN is ‘PENGEMBANGAN UMKM RUMPUT LAUT DAN WISATA PANTAI MELALUI PEMBERDAYAAN SUMBER DAYA MANUSIA’. The theme might be more suited for economy students. But because one study can stand all alone, it needs some backups from other fields of study. As you know I’m a student of Japanese Literature. By the theme, I made at least 8 programs concerning my field. Can you believe it? It looks unbelievable at first, but I went through it flawlessly.

The words ‘Wisata Pantai’ and ‘Rumput Laut’ gave me advantages for development of my programs. Why? Because most of Japanese tourists visit the beaches in Bali and Japan also frequently import seaweeds from Bali. The good thing for being a student of Japanese Literature is there is a fact that most of Japanese prefer to get information given in Japanese rather than in English. Do you follow?

These are the programs I’ve done successfully:

Pelatihan dan Pembuatan Modul Bahasa Asing (Bahasa Jepang) untuk Pelaku Wisata di Pantai Pandawa

    Penyuluhan Tentang Nori (Aonori)

Pembuatan Video dengan Subtitle Bahasa Jepang Tentang Atraksi Wisata dan Hasil Olahan Rumput Laut di Pantai Pandawa

Pembuatan Brosur Wisata Berbahasa Jepang tentang Atraksi Wisata di Pantai Pandawa

(Sorry I don’t have the picture for this)
Penyuluhan Tentang Rumput Laut yang Dapat Diekspor ke Jepang

(Sorry I don’t have the picture for this)
Pembuatan Konten Poster Tentang Nori

 Pelatihan Origami kepada Anak-anak SD

(Sorry I don’t have the picture for this)
Pelatihan Bahasa Jepang kepada Anak-anak SD

I love the nature and I really really love beach, so I’ll tell you how wonderful my KKN work place is through these pictures J

KKN gave me bunch of lessons. I wish it'll help me grow better this year.
This is what I can tell about my KKN. How about yours?
